What was you favorite color as a kid? (Say it out loud)

Has your color choice changed over time? (Hmm,..probably.) Maybe you haven't thought about it for awhile.

Growing up, the things we used as identifiers were simple: from the toys that seemed important, to who your friends were, to what you wanted to be when you grew up.

So, without knowing how exactly, I can almost guarantee that your thinking, choices, and feelings about certain things have changed as you have evolved due to experience and growth.

My question for you is, have you consciously chosen to be who you dream and desire to be?! Have you thought about who that person needs to be and how that affects your current self?

Self-Awareness is a key component of personal growth and development.

I'm not talking about, simply what kind of music do you like type-of-awareness. It involves recognizing and understanding your own responses and behaviors. why are you the way you are and are you in alignment with all you intend to be?! Undeniably, you are then tasked with deciding what supports and what undermines you, in your goal creation!

When you consciously move with awareness you can gain insights into the experiences that have tended to shape your present beliefs and perspectives.

What became your truth, through experience (especially trauma or hardship) doesn't have to continue to have it's grips on your future.

You can, as a mindful and thoughtful coach, transition from old patterns to new, with beneficial preferences, reactions, and even colors choices that align to who you want to be!

Essentially, change for the better is the goal. It's also true that what you don't acknowledge cannot be addressed thoroughly. Intentional self-awareness your key to your future identity.

If I were to format a step-by-step for conscious awareness, it would look something like:

Examine your emotional triggers, your patterns, your autopilot habits (what supports, what doesn't)
Recognize what alignment to your success goals look like (are they the same as in college, 10 years ago, last year?)
Prioritize what changes are needed. Embrace incremental actions. Review opinions. Adapt to new possibilities.
Be mindful. Become an observer of situations and your default inclinations. Adjust to overcome autopilot behavior and learn to consciously replace them with deliberately focused actions.
Identify with your future self. Become who she is, now! What does she believe about herself? Upgrade to include her values and systems towards progress.

I challenge you to be like your future self, more each day!

Starting with self-awareness , will create a blueprint for clarity, trusting yourself, and identifying with the successful orientation already inside you.
